Weekly Grade Level Mass
This year’s Eighth Grade class netted 26 scholarships worth $41,300 to Omaha area Catholic high schools. This comes out to a third of the graduating class! In 2010-11 the Eighth Graders won 25 scholarships worth $47,500. 2009-10 brought in 18 scholarships worth $27,250. 2008-09 brought in 25 scholarships worth $77,700. For this four year period, SJS students were awarded an impressive 94 scholarships worth a total of $193,750!!!
Advanced Technology: 2 full class-sized Computer Labs, Weekly Technology Classes for K-8, Grades 2-8 get an additional 2 days/week for 1 quarter, Typing classes for grades 2-8 (Keyboarding Programs - "Keybo" and/or "Type to Learn"), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Glogster, Lego Robotics. Every classroom has a document camera & projector. Various classrooms have Smartboards, eInstruction Clickers, Mobi's and/or iPads.
